How to Integrate Social media in Gmail

For everyone who is lazy and does not want to open multiple tabs and sites to check your social stuff (Facebook, twitter, youtube etc...)

Here is a lazy persons life saver

Everything in you Gmail account!!!

So you open your browser go on Gmail log on and BAM everything is there!!!

I love Gmail because it is so customizable.

Here is how to do it.

Go in your Gmail settings

1. Activate “Add any gadget by URL” in Gmail Labs — you’ll find it near the bottom of the list.

2. Now go to Settings –> Gadgets. Here you’ll find a place to add Gadget URLs

3. Add the TwitterGadget App. https://twittergadget.appspot.com/gadget-gmail.xml

4. Add the Facebook Gadget http://hosting.gmodules.com/ig/gadgets/file/100080069921643878012/facebook.xml

5. You can also add Facebook chat : http://hosting.gmodules.com/ig/gadgets/file/113335398898236269352/facebook-chat-3.xml

or any chatting account

6. To do lists http://www.mylisty.net/Listy/gadget/MyListy.xml

9 Or any other gadget that you want to search for all you have to do is search google for google gadgets (http://www.google.com/ig/directory?synd=open) then search for any gadget you want

Ex: search countdown

first search result will be birth reminders click on it

next copy the Url go in you Gmail settings click "Gadgets" paste the URL but before hit add make sure you erase the following

ORIGNAL LINK - http://www.google.com/ig/directory?synd=open&hl=en&gl=en&url=http://www.labpixies.com/campaigns/dates/dates.xml

ERASED FIXED LINK -http://www.labpixies.com/campaigns/dates/dates.xml

notice how the "http://www.google.com/ig/directory?synd=open&hl=en&gl=en&url=" was erased

now click add and you are good to go - you should see the gadget pop up in the sidebar.

BUZZ, FACEBOOK, TWITTER, YOUTUBE etc.... ALL ON 1 PAGE!!

Now it will be easy for you to keep up with your friends and family with minimal effort and no one will ever b*tch to you about how "you are never on or update facebook twitter...etc"
